Leader In Training

The Leader in Training (LIT) program offers opportunities for youth to prepare for future employment by assisting in our summer camp.  

Groton Parks and Recreation will screen and interview candidates from among the applications received by June 1, 2025.

Entire Camp runs June 23 - August 8. 7:45am-3pm.  LITs must be positive contributors to the program, and if at any time things aren't working out, GP&R reserves the right to terminate the arrangement with no refunds given.

Letters of recommendation should be from unrelated adults, such as teachers, group leaders, or other adults who know the candidate well enough to evaluate potential for working with children.

All LITs must register for a minimum of (2) weeks.
