Pickleball - Coached Play (Thursday Morning) (Fall)
Enjoy Open Play Pickleball at our Bassi Outside Pickleball Courts.Lessons take place at the Groton Community Center.Check out the Southeastern CT Pickleball Facebook Group HERE.Brand new to Pickleball?Please attend a Beginner Lesson BEFORE attending an Open Play.Beginner Level is defined as new to the game with basic understanding of rules & scoring.Pickleball Lessons/Clinics Policy: --Participants may only sign up for lessons/clinics one week at a time--24 Hour notice is required for cancellations--No refunds for No-Shows--Lessons and sign-ups are not transferable--No substitutions are allowedAll participants must have a free GP&R Drop-In Pickleball Membership Bar Code and scan in to play. Special Recreation - Special Recreation (Fall 2)(2025)
Individuals with disabilities participate in arts & crafts, sports activities and compete in Special Olympics sports. (All Special Olympics sports fall under the Special Recreation Program.) Arts and crafts always take place at the Groton Community Center on Thursdays from 6:00-7:30 pm.Days and times vary, please check monthly calendar that is given to you at the time of reservation. Please note some sports do not occur on Thursdays. Any questions please call Eileen 860-625-1024.Each season there will be an intent to participate in Special Olympic sports. Look to receipt to register.
